Accommodation

For disabled people, life in a special home or foster family is often the best solution when it comes to finding the right balance between autonomy and safety. They will benefit from supervision letting them carry out a professional activity and/or carry on learning, in an environment suited to their disability.

The council’s role

Enabling all disabled people access to these centres by:

  • setting the price per day
  • awarding financial support for people with insufficient resources

Covering accommodation costs

Orne Councils funds all or part of the accommodation of people whose disability rate recognised by the CDAPH is equal or superior to 50% and who do not have the resources to cover the costs incurred by their disability.
