Consomalin

Conso Malin

The company Consomalin runs a website promoting local trade, at Conso-malin.fr.

The website offers local traders an internet showcase, where they can present their business and offer money-off vouchers.

As traders and other local organisations become increasingly interested in web promotion, which brings in a new type of consumer, Consomalin is thinking of expanding its business into the surrounding departments, including the Mayenne, Manche and Calvados.

Emmanuel Mauger, founder of the website and a pioneer in France in the field of web promotion and couponing for local traders, chose to move into the Orne Council's new business incubator to "benefit from the dynamics of the ICT network in the Orne."

Agnès Thomas, communication agency

Agnes Thomas

Founded in Caen in 2009, the Agnès Thomas agency is an across-the-board communication agency, employing 8 people. It offers clients a whole range of expertise, including advice on communication, press relations, public relations, events management and business coaching.

Seeing that there was no all-compassing communication agency in the Orne, the Agnès Thomas agency decided to set up a new office in Alençon to cover the area, which offers significant potential for development.

Agnès Thomas, director of the agency, decided to "move into the starTech61 business incubator to test the Orne market. The Alençon agency will soon enable us to take on a full-time communication consultant and, in the near future, hire a graphic designer."

Seolius

Googlius

Seolius is a new, natural-positioning solution on Google. The principle is quite simple - 10 key expressions are selected with help of a consultant with the aim of ensuring optimal results in terms of positioning and ROI. Googlius positions these 10 key expressions on the first page of Google within 30 days and undertakes to maintain them there for the full duration of the contract.

Googlius is designed for tradesmen (builders, electricians, caterers, carpenters, etc.), the self-employed (architects, lawyers, graphic designers, translators, couriers, estate agents, etc.), traders, SMEs, mid-sized companies and key accounts. Googlius France was founded in September 2011.

"For us, the business incubator is a way of preventing the entrepreneur from feeling isolated, but also a chance to work in a place where we can discuss and share in an environment fully-focused on new technologies.

ST61

ST61

The company ST61, founded in September 2009 by Gaëdic Renard, acts as an interface between people looking to do home improvements and professionals able to carry out the work.

Convinced that the sources of growth for its business were to be found on the internet, ST61 signed a partnership with PIBHRA which manages mesmatériaux.com, a website selling building materials.

For the last quarter, ST61 and PIBHRA have been setting up an advertising sales broker to promote qualified companies from across mainland France on mesmatériaux.com, with the following goals:

  • offering advertisers direct visibility for their business in the geographical area(s) indicated and giving them access to highly detailed work orders;
  • offering web users a comprehensive service able to satisfy their requirements in full.

At the same time, ST61 is looking to develop as many web services as possible (selling web showrooms to tradesmen, energy efficiency e-certificates, on-line work brokering etc.) ST61 is recruiting sales agents all across France.

"Thanks to starTech61, ST61 is working to develop its business on-line, to offer tradesmen greater visibility and highly detailed work orders and to provide web users with a comprehensive serving able to satisfy their requirements in full."
